About

Hi. I'm Seth.

At my own wedding, I was nervous and stressed about every detail. I remember feeling awkward around a photographer I didn't know, who didn't know me. I have always felt awkward in front of a camera. I just felt awkward.

Later, as a photographer myself, I kept coming back to one question: what would it take to make my couples and families feel at ease? To feel comfortable in front of a camera. To know it was ok for their kids to act like kids. To feel like they could actually be themselves.

I know many people don't get excited about being photographed, especially us guys. I get it. My job is to make the session easy, even fun, so you can stop thinking about the camera and just be in the day.

I am a husband, father, retired U.S. Navy veteran, musician, and (surprise) a photographer. Photography is my real passion, both the artistry of it and the gear side of it. I know what I'm doing with the technical stuff so you don't have to think about any of it.

What to expect when we work together

Before the session. We talk. I want to know who's going to be in front of the camera, what your day looks like, and what you're hoping to walk away with. The more I know, the better I can stay out of the way when it matters.

During. I'm direct, calm, and quick to laugh. I'll guide you when you need it and disappear when you don't. Kids and pets welcome. Actually, encouraged.

After. Edited galleries delivered through Pic-Time in two to three weeks. Download, share, and order prints from a lab I trust.

If you're exploring photographers beyond me, go look at Heather DeGrace of Backroads Photography. She's excellent.

Ready when you are.

The best sessions start with a conversation.
